USAIPools ("we," "our," or "us") operates usaipools.com and the USAIPools application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

• Property address — when you submit an address for pool visualization
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card details

• IP address — for fraud prevention and geographic routing

• Satellite images retrieved for submitted addresses (sourced from Google Maps APIs)
• AI-generated pool visualizations
• API call logs (address, timestamp, result status) retained for debugging and abuse prevention

• To send service updates, billing notices, and (with your consent) marketing communications

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share data with service providers who help us operate our business:

• Google Maps Platform — for geocoding and satellite imagery retrieval
• Anthropic — the Claude Vision API used for AI pool placement analysis
• Image generation providers — for photorealistic pool rendering (varies by active model)
• SendGrid — for email delivery of visualization results
• Payment processor — for billing and subscription management
• Analytics provider — for usage analytics (Google Analytics 4)

All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide the relevant service.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Specifically:

• Account data (email, subscription info): retained until you request deletion
• Visualization results: cached for up to 30 days; deleted on cache expiration
• API call logs: retained for up to 12 months for debugging and abuse prevention
• Analytics data: subject to the Google Analytics 4 retention settings (default 14 months)

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Analytics — understanding how users interact with our service (Google Analytics 4)
